Mission

Here at Encounter Student Ministries we strive to equip Jr/Sr high students for a life living for the kingdom of God by providing solid biblical teaching, time for worship, and a safe environment to foster relationships.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. we meet to Go Deeper, asking and discussing the questions we have about all sorts of topics. Applying the Bible to those questions. No question is a dump question if it’s a honest question.

Following our Go Deeper class, we attend second service as a group and sit on the front right side. All teens are welcome to come join us.

Wednesday Nights

During the school year, Jr high and Sr high students meet every Wednesday Night at Country from 6:30-8 pm (unless North Branch Schools are canceled for hazardous weather). We gather together to hear who God is, ask hard questions, grow friendships and have fun in the process.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month we get together to hang out to have fun, make a friend in a variety of ways. Not sure what or where? Email Dale at: dale@countrychristianchurch.com

Encounter Colorado

Encounter is a backpacking trip focused on helping campers develop their relationship with Christ, with the Creator's magnificent mountains as the backdrop. The trek seeks to provide a setting where students are challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually seeking God and examining their relationship with Him.

Encounter Colorado is a multi-day backpacking trip into the Fort Colin area wilderness to a place called Bench Lake. Each student carries his or her own supplies, plus some group gear, for the entire trip. There are no phones, bathrooms conveniences for many miles. We will hike about 20 miles over the course of the weeks trek. Pine forests, lakes and streams characterize the area we hike, in elevations ranging from 9,000 to 14,000 feet above sea level.

Besides hiking, in a typical day campers will set up camp, have a Bible study/journal time, debrief, sing, group building activities, and learn a lesson or two in back country living. Everything slows down and takes longer in the back country. It’s important to note that you should prepare yourself by doing some conditioning. Couch potatoes can manage but will have a more difficult time.
